We're looking for a friendly, experienced and reliable Waiter to join the team part-time. You’ll be the face of ACE Pizza, ensuring our guests have an amazing time from the moment they enter the building. This role is all about great vibes, sharp service, and a genuine love for what we do. Whether it’s a quick weeknight slice or a party on Saturday night, we are a busy restaurant environment and you’ll need to be able to thrive under pressure.

📍 Location: Victoria Park, Hackney, London.
💰 Pay: Up to £17 per hour (London Living Wage employer + tronc)
👩 Reports To: General Manager, Assistant Manager
⏰ Hours: Up to 20 hours per week, flexible shifts, evening and weekends standard📅 Start Date: ASAP

As a member of our FOH team, you’ll be right in the thick of it. You’ll be responsible for your own section, ensuring every pizza is served hot and every drink is delivered, all while keeping the atmosphere where it needs to be.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver exceptional service with a smile, making sure every guest feels welcome and looked after.

• Own your section, from taking orders and running food to clearing tables and keeping things clean and tidy.

• Be a menu expert, confidently talking guests through our pizzas, specials, and which cocktail or wine pairs best.

• Support the bar and floor teams, jumping in where needed — whether that’s polishing glasses, sweeping or seating guests.

• Keep the pace high, ensuring appropriate turnarounds without ever making the guest feel rushed.

• Handle payments accurately, using our POS system and ensuring smooth shift handovers.

• Follow H&S and food hygiene standards.
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced restaurant or bar.

• A people person who genuinely enjoys hospitality and cares about the Victoria Park community.

• Energy and stamina — you’re happy on your feet and thrive when the music is up and the restaurant is full.

• Great communication skills, keeping the link between the kitchen and the guest seamless.

• A team player who is happy to get stuck in and help their colleagues when the pressure is on.

• Right to live and work in the UK.
