ACE Pizza will open its first restaurant in Victoria Park this summer. Our ‘biga’ dough pizza combines Neapolitan chew and char with New York-style structure and foldability—a uniquely ‘London-style’ pizza. An expanded menu will showcase our pizza sandwiches, alongside Italian-American sides and soft-serve ice cream.

As Pastry Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Pizza Chef in developing Ace Pizza’s menu offer. The key responsibilities are outlined below:

What You’ll Do:
Develop and manage our dessert program. From ice cream flavours, classic desserts and toppings, to baked goods that pair perfectly with pizza.
Own the bread and dough side of the kitchen, including experimenting with new crusts, focaccias, or limited edition drops.
Keep our dessert game strong, seasonal, and exciting.
Work closely with our Head Chef to make sure sweet & savoury are always in sync.
Become a trusted resource for the team when it comes to pastry and dough.
Champion creativity in menu development, contributing to specials and more.
Maintain exceptional food hygiene standards, ensuring a 5-star rating.
Engage with GP and stock control to optimise menu efficiency and drive growth.
Take pride in appearance and the standards by which the team present themselves.
What We’re Looking For:
A pastry or bakery background (bonus points if you’ve worked in a pizzeria or casual fine dining spot).
Excellent taste and an even better attitude.
A love of R&D, trying new things, and pushing boundaries.
The ability to work fast, clean, and with pride in your craft.
Experience in dough making.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
Comfortable working with all stakeholders, from customers to suppliers and EHO.
Comfortable balancing autonomy with collaboration alongside company directors.
